A Magical Holiday Favourite: “A Christmas Carol: The Musical”

Footlight Theatre Company is pleased to present the heartwarming family favourite “A Christmas Carol – The Musical”. It is the blending of Dicken’s classic tale with a beautiful score by composer Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Alladin, Little Shop of Horrors) and lyricist Lynn Ahrens.

The show opened in 1994 at the Theatre at Madison Square Garden and ran for 10 years, becoming a New York holiday tradition that entertained thousands of families every year.

We think you will find that it speaks to our times – the lesson of a man who must learn to set aside the cold-hearted pursuit of wealth in order to regain his humanity, compassion and his connection with fellow human beings and the world outside his own door.
