Norm Foster is considered to be Canada’s most-produced playwright. An extremely prolific writer, Foster has had more than forty plays produced on professional stages, and he is currently starring in one of them, The Love List, at the Vancouver Playhouse Theatre. We are honoured to be invited to a workshop/talkback with him hosted by the Playhouse. After the workshop, we will have a behind-the-scenes tour of the Playhouse production facility.

Auditions will be at the Burnaby Arts Council Basement, 6584 Deer Lake Avenue (Deer Lake Park), Burnaby, BC.

Requirements:

We’re looking for singers, actors, dancers, comedians and entertainers of all ages to perform in a traditional Vaudeville format show. Got a gimmick, bring it: stand-up comedy, quirky tricks, magic, anything that falls into the traditional style of Vaudeville.

Singers, please bring sheet music to sing something from the American Song Book or traditional musical theatre era. A pianist will be provided. Please be prepared to do some dance/movement at the audition. Dancers please bring proper footwear. Tap and Can-Can dancing a plus, but not required.
